Teams and players live under All Teams and All Players in the ScoreKeeper hub. Both pages use the same layout: a searchable list on the left, details on the right, and a + in the app bar to add.
It depends on how your event works:
Either way, teams must exist before you can schedule a game.
Open All Teams. Until you add one you'll see an empty list.
Press + (New team) and fill in Team name. Optionally add a logo, pick a Captain from the players you've already added, and — if divisions or men's/women's categories are enabled — a Division or category. Press Save, or Save & add another (or just hit Enter) to keep going.

Tip
Choosing a captain automatically moves that player onto the team. You can also set the captain later from the team's Team tab.
Select a team in the list to see it on the right. The chip under each team name shows its captain (or No captain).

Open All Players. The banner under the app bar shows your usage against the plan — Rookie credit · 24 / 32 players · 4 / 4 teams.

Press + (New player). The dialog is built for speed: type a Name and press Enter to save and start the next one. Add optional fields only when you need them by pressing + Photo, + Position, + Number, + Skill rating or + Team.

| Field | Used for |
|---|---|
| Name | Required. Shown everywhere. |
| Position | Free text (F, D, G, …). Shown next to the name on rosters and the draft board. |
| Number | The primary jersey number. Shown on the live scoring page and game details. |
| Skill rating | 1–5 stars. Captains sort by it during the draft. |
| Team | Assign now, or leave empty for the draft. |
| Photo | Roster photo; also used on the game schedule backdrops. |
Select a player to see their Profile and Details. Press Edit to change the name, team, Primary #, Alt # (for the alternate jersey), position, skill rating or photo, or untick Active to keep a player on file but off the ice (inactive players are hidden from scoring rosters and show an Inactive chip). Delete removes them entirely.

Tick the boxes beside several players (or the box at the top to select everyone visible in your search) and use the buttons that appear:

The counter in the banner is the number of player and team records that count against your credit. When you reach the limit, New player / New team is disabled and the server declines further additions with a message like This tournament has reached its 32-player limit.
If an event goes over its limit (for example after a downgrade), OutScore freezes scheduling, scoring and drafting until you either remove players or Upgrade the event — deleting is always allowed. See Chapter 9 for upgrading.
Note
Only Admins can add players and teams. Scorekeepers can view and edit existing ones. See Chapter 4 for the difference.
