Short answers to the questions organizers ask most, with links to the full explanation.
I didn't get the verification email / sign-in code.
Check junk or spam — the sender is Out-Score Support / noReply@out-score.com. On the sign-in screen use Resend code (there's a short wait between sends). If email keeps being slow for you, switch to an authenticator app in My Account → Security. → Chapter 1
The sign-in code expired.
Codes last 10 minutes. Press Resend code and use the newest one.
I'm being asked to sign in again to finish security setup.
Enrolling an authenticator requires a recent sign-in. OutScore signs you out, brings you back to Login, and returns you to the setup screen afterwards. → Chapter 1
I lost my authenticator app.
Sign in with your email code path if you still have it, or contact Info@out-score.com from your account email.
My invitation code says expired / already used / invalid.
Codes last 24 hours and work once. Ask the organizer for a new one (Manage → Users → +). → Chapter 4
Sign-up says public signup is disabled.
OutScore occasionally limits new accounts to invited users. You'll need an invitation code from an organizer.
I can't choose my own tournament ID.
IDs are assigned automatically on Rookie and Club credits. Organizer and League credits let you choose. → Chapter 2
My name or ID was rejected.
Names and IDs are public, so a few reserved words and inappropriate terms are blocked. Try another wording.
Where did the Draft Manager / Playoff Bracket tiles go?
They only appear when the feature is switched on: Tournament Settings → Features → Enable Draft Manager / Enable Playoff Bracket Manager. → Chapter 2
The public home page doesn't show Team Rosters (or another button).
Each button is a switch under Tournament Settings → Home Screen. → Chapter 8
How do I turn on the Rules page or Trade announcements?
Those switches are enabled per event by OutScore support — email Info@out-score.com.
I can't add more players or teams.
You've hit the credit's limit (Rookie: 32 players / 4 teams). Delete unused records or Upgrade this event. → Chapter 3, Chapter 9
Scheduling, scoring and the draft are all disabled.
The event is over its plan limit (the banner says so). Reduce the roster or upgrade; deleting is always allowed.
A scorekeeper can't add players.
Only Admins add players and teams. Scorekeepers can edit existing ones. → Chapter 4
How do I move a player to another team after the draft?
All Players → select the player → Edit → Team, or use bulk edit for several at once. → Chapter 3
Start draft is disabled.
With Use a pick order on, you need an order first: Order tab → Default or Randomize. → Chapter 5
A captain's Draft buttons are greyed out.
It isn't their turn (see the banner), the draft hasn't started, or the event is over its limit. Captains can pick when the banner says Your turn.
A captain isn't responding and the room is waiting.
Press Skip this turn on the Live tab. Or pick for them from Open pick board.
The captain link stopped working.
Links last 14 days. Copy a new one from Draft Manager → Setup → Copy captain link (it refreshes the window). → Chapter 4
An unplayed game shows 0–0 on the public schedule instead of "upcoming".
That's normal: a game is considered live from scheduling until you End game; concluded games show Final. → Chapter 6
I ended a game by mistake.
Open it and press Re-open.
I recorded a goal for the wrong player/team.
Delete it with the trash icon on the event and add it again. → Chapter 6
The clock on the public page doesn't match ours.
The public page mirrors the scorekeeper's clock. If nobody starts the in-app clock it stays paused; either use it or press Hide clock for this game.
Can someone score a game without an account?
Yes — Copy scorekeeper link on the game and send it to them. It's valid for 14 days and limited to that game. → Chapter 4
A team's points look wrong.
Standings only count concluded regular-season games; playoff games and games still live are excluded. Check the result type (Edit details → Game result for standings) and the point rules in Playoff setup. → Chapter 7
A 2–2 game gave no points.
Count equal scores as a tie is off in Playoff setup, and the game wasn't concluded as Ended in a tie. Edit the result or turn the switch on.
The bracket shows the wrong matchup.
In round one, change the team drop-downs directly (or Reset round 1 to seeding). For a result that should stand regardless of the score, use Who advances. → Chapter 7
Fans can't see the bracket.
Turn on Show Public Playoff Bracket in Tournament Settings.
What's the difference between Archive and Duplicate & archive?
Archive hides the event and frees the credit; reactivate any time. Duplicate & archive (Organizer/League) also copies the season to a new archived ID so the live URL can start the next season clean. → Chapter 9
Fans see "This tournament is archived".
The owner archived it. My Account → Events → Reactivate brings it back if there's a free slot or credit.
Where are my invoices?
My Account → Billing → Manage billing opens the Stripe customer portal.
Does upgrading change anything besides the limits?
No. Roster, games and settings stay exactly as they are; only the caps rise (and, on Organizer/League, extra tools appear).
